I’m Ben Worsley, professional musician & receiver of Five Element acupuncture. I come from a family of Five Element practitioners. My late Grandfather JR Worsley founded the first Five Element acupuncture college in the UK which my late Father then ran for many years. My wonderful Auntie, Hilary Skellon is a practising Five Element acupuncturist and co-founder of ITEA in Colorado.

Having said all of that, I don’t myself know that much about acupuncture and so pester Gabriella with many questions during my treatments, hence the idea for this podcast was born!

I’m Gabriella Doran, a 5 Element acupuncturist with 20+ years experience and teacher of 5 Element acupuncture. After an initial training in art, specialising in theatre design, I lived in Asia for several years, where I ran my own highly successful jewellery manufacturing business. On my return to the UK I was treated with acupuncture, which I was surprised to find not only improved my health, but also provided invaluable support through a bereavement and period of major life changes. I was impressed and inspired by this simple yet profoundly effective form of medicine, and made the decision to study and become a practitioner in 2000.

In 2007, I joined the teaching faculty at LIFEA as Head of Second Year and remained there until the school closed at the end of 2010. In 2016, I joined forces with Michael Arnold and together we built FEAT, a training programme for those interested in pursuing a career in Five Element Acupuncture.
